Dr. David Cox
Optometrist - Owner
Born and raised in Bracebridge, it was only natural that Dr. David Cox would return to his hometown upon graduation from the University of Waterloo in 1984. He purchased the optometry practice from his great-uncle, who had established it in 1935. Dr. Cox has cultivated an amplitude of loyal patients over the years. He has many patients here in Bracebridge, and many more from Gravenhurst and Huntsville, who regularly travel the extra distance to see him.

Dr. Cox has won the Examiner’s Reader’s Choice award for 11 years and in 2010 won the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award.
Dr. Nicole Hatfield
Optometrist - Owner
Dr. Nicole Hatfield completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph, and then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo - School of Optometry. She also completed an externship in Therapeutics and Ocular Disease at the OMNI Eye Institute in Baltimore, where she became proficient in caring for patients with diabetes and glaucoma. While completing her optometric training, Dr. Hatfield went to Puerto Viejo, Ecuador, through Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity to provide eye care for their community, and hopes to integrate services like this into her practice in the future. Nicole loves the outdoors, which is why she and her family relocated to Muskoka in 2019. When she is not at the clinic you can find her hiking and enjoying the lake with her husband, son, daughter, and shepherd.
Dr. Rodney St Louis
Associate Optometrist
Dr. Rodney St Louis grew up in Pickering, Ontario, and graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science degree. He subsequently went on to the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago to complete his Doctorate of Optometry. He rotated through several clinics, including the Northport VA Medical Center in Long Island, Harper's Point Eye Associates in Cincinnati, the Rosenbloom Center and North Suburban Vision Consultants in Chicago.
Dr. St Louis received a wide range of experience in advanced care and ocular disease treatment during his clinical rotations. He has experience in surgical co-management, and basic/specialty contact lens fittings.
He is dedicated to giving each and every one of his patients the best possible eye care. Dr. St Louis is sensitive to his patient's requirements and strives to give the greatest level of care in a welcoming and professional setting that fosters long-term relationships. Rodney enjoys staying active in his spare time by engaging in activities such as weight training, basketball, and Muay Thai.
